Mary handles a diverse range of Estate and Elder Law issues. In addition to representing clients in Orphans' Court for guardianship hearings, she serves as an attorney appointed by Montgomery County Orphans' Court to represent alleged incapacitated persons. Mary also administers Estate and Trusts after a loved one passes, ensuring all court and tax deadlines are met. Mary meets with families looking to solve long-term care issues with a focus on "aging-in-place" or choosing the best care facility to meet their physical and financial needs. She is an active member of the Montgomery Bar Association Elder Law Section, attending educational seminars at their regular meetings. Mary has served as a board member for the Montgomery County Estate Planning Council, which facilitates the team approach to financial and legal advising for her clients. She is accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs as an attorney, allowing her to obtain long-term care benefits for her military clients and their spouses. Mary also volunteers with Wills For Heroes, where she prepares estate documents for our local first responders. While in law school, Mary interned with the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, where she played an active role in instituting the Elder Abuse Task Force.

When not practicing law, she and her husband Kurt enjoy beach walks at the Jersey shore, traveling to historical sites, and being entertained by the grandkids.
